  • The National Tutoring Programme (NTP) is an initiative to provide additional tutoring support to schools and students in England in response to the learning disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The programme is funded by the Department for Education and aims to provide catch-up support to pupils who have missed out on learning due to school closures and disruptions caused by the pandemic.

    The NTP provides a range of tutoring options, including small-group tuition, one-to-one sessions, and online tutoring, with a focus on supporting disadvantaged students who may be most at risk of falling behind. The programme is open to all state-maintained primary and secondary schools in England, and schools can choose from a range of approved tuition partners to provide the support that best meets their needs.

  • From September 2022 schools will receive funding from the DfE to commission Tuition Partners.

    You will be able to select the Tuition Partner you think most suitable for your pupils. We can support pupils 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3 both face to face and online. All interventions will be lead by qualified teachers and can help with:

    • Catch up tuition for pupils who are working behind their peers

    • Re-integration support

    • Interventions for pupils who are absent, unwell or attending school part time
